Ian (Meaning; Gift from God)

Hello!

Today is the birthday of a friend of mine, Ian (Meaning; Gift of God). He is the only friend I have ever had that I've stayed friends with for my entire life (or at least what I can remember). We've been friends for about twelve years now. In that period, my family and I have moved four times. We actually moved across the state, but Ian still wrote to me. We finally moved back to the side of the state they still live in, and we got together a lot. I'm a shy person, but Ian never makes me feel shy. He has also followed me into some pretty wild and confusing ventures, and not complained once.

Ian is a very smart person. He knows engineering really well, and in the course of our friendship, he is constantly coming up with many creative (and really cool!!!) gadgets, from lights powered by gravity, to drones that defy it. Ian is truly a gift from God. I could never have asked for a better friend.

Ian (Meaning; Gift of God) is a Scottish name. It's the Scottish form of John. I like the name Ian because it's a more adventurous version of John. I like unusual names, and this is one with a meaning I like. Because what person isn't a gift from God? We are all miracles.

Ian embodies this, at least in my eyes. He's gracious, clever, and kind. And today on his birthday, I want to say thank you for everything you've done Ian (Meaning; Gift of God).

Hello Everyone! Today I am going to write about the enigma that was Kaspar Hauser (Meaning; House of the Keeper of the Treasure), and my thoughts about him and his meaning. I only recently found out the sad story of Kaspar, and it inspired me to write about the unfortunate life of this young man.  The story starts on the 26th of May, 1828 in Nuremburg Germany. A young teenager stumbled onto the streets of the town, a confused look on his young face. After he got into town, a local shoemaker, Weichmann (Meaning; Man of War) noticed him, and the boy held out a letter, addressed to the local Captain, Von Wessenig. Samhain (Meaning; End of the Harvest)

Hello everyone! It's a little late, but I though I'd do a post about a name pertaining to Halloween this year. That name is Samhain (Meaning; End of the Harvest). This name's meaning is the essence of the month of October, the last month of Harvest. Now, I haven't met any Samhains, and I'm sure you haven't either. The name is actually a girl's name, and began with the ancient Celts. Here's one reason I wouldn't want to be named Samhain; It's Halloween's original name. Yes, Samhain is the name of Halloween. It's so connected with Halloween, people with the fear of Halloween have what is called Samhainopobia. And yes, that's a real thing. Hello! May is my favorite month, as I generally find April still a little too cold where I live. But now, Spring is in full swing! May is a month full of interesting things. I'm glad I do this blog, or I'd never know what May brings! The month celebrates May Day. A meteor shower appears in the sky at this time of the year, starting April 21, and ending on May 20. It's name? Eta Aquarids. (Meaning: Luminous  Water Bearer) The birthstone is Emerald. And, the flower of the month is a Lily of the Valley. I didn't know there were flowers for every month.
