Hello everybody!

Today I am going to write about a family friend, Carol (Meaning; Joyous Song). Carol is a friend who reached out to my mom just this spring. She was a friend reconnecting, and soon she and mom had set up a time to meet. We met her husband Bill (Meaning; Resolute Protector), and her son Carson (Meaning; Fighter), as well as their dachshund, Bentley (Meaning; From the Meadow). From those name meanings, it seems Carol won't have to worry about any harm coming to her! I don't think I've met a taste for hot pink that is as extravagant as Carol's. She's also one of the funniest people I've met in my life. I can't remember any specific jokes, but they made an impression so there were some pretty funny ones. 

Now about the name Carol itself. Rather obviously, it means joyous song, but it also has the meaning of Champion, from its roots as a female form of Charles (Meaning; Manly). How anyone got "Champion" out of "Manly", I don't know, but these two meanings put together make for a meaning like no other. Joyous Song of the Champion is one of the most unique name meanings I've come across. It is beautiful, and yet empowerful in a way. In my mind, it means that Carol's are people who can happily accomplish much in their lives. Champion gives it a determined ring, which definitely is meaning for my Carol!

I like the name Carol because of the people I've met in my life with that name. They all have a happiness that can be seen by those around them. They definitely have the meaning this name gives; Joyous Song of the Champion. I don't think I will every run across a meaning just like that again.

And so, in conclusion...

Carol's are people who will succeed. Carol, you are a champion. You are a song that brings joy to other people who didn't even realize they need it. You are made to succeed, as your name suggests. Hello Everyone! Today I am going to write about the enigma that was Kaspar Hauser (Meaning; House of the Keeper of the Treasure), and my thoughts about him and his meaning. I only recently found out the sad story of Kaspar, and it inspired me to write about the unfortunate life of this young man.  The story starts on the 26th of May, 1828 in Nuremburg Germany. A young teenager stumbled onto the streets of the town, a confused look on his young face. Hello everyone! It's a little late, but I though I'd do a post about a name pertaining to Halloween this year. That name is Samhain (Meaning; End of the Harvest). This name's meaning is the essence of the month of October, the last month of Harvest. Now, I haven't met any Samhains, and I'm sure you haven't either. The name is actually a girl's name, and began with the ancient Celts. Here's one reason I wouldn't want to be named Samhain; It's Halloween's original name. Yes, Samhain is the name of Halloween. It's so connected with Halloween, people with the fear of Halloween have what is called Samhainopobia. And yes, that's a real thing. Hello! May is my favorite month, as I generally find April still a little too cold where I live. But now, Spring is in full swing! May is a month full of interesting things. I'm glad I do this blog, or I'd never know what May brings! The month celebrates May Day. A meteor shower appears in the sky at this time of the year, starting April 21, and ending on May 20. It's name? Eta Aquarids. (Meaning: Luminous  Water Bearer) The birthstone is Emerald. And, the flower of the month is a Lily of the Valley. I didn't know there were flowers for every month.
